She is actively involved in quality, environmental, health and safety, information security and business continuity compliance consultancy and training, whilst also being responsible for managing the teams who are assigned to look after clients. Following the publication of the Public Inquiry from the attack on Manchester Arena, Jodie identified a number of missed opportunities in relation to compliance. Recognising that the introduction of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill, colloquially known as “Martyn’s Law” after Martyn Hett, one of the 22 innocent victims of the attack, will present challenges for some organisations, Jodie founded The Protect Alliance (UK) and is working extensively with like-minded businesses who share her passion to help organisations to implement simple but robust processes to ensure that they can meet their legal and moral duty to protect people.
