Bitcoin halving occurred for the third time on 12 May 2020. But many people who understand Blockchain (and almost everyone who doesn’t!) have never heard of this or, if they have, they do not understand it and the economic and legal implications. This session examines what Bitcoin halving is and why it matters – and teaches a clear understanding of Bitcoin and Blockchain along the way.
Any business should stay ahead of emerging trends and different ways of doing business. This is particularly true when those different methods allow cutting of costs and removal of intermediaries and redundant processes. Using Bitcoins systems to undertake business and using smart contracts is the way business is going; and understanding how economic effects such as Bitcoin halving can be an important component in working with your eyes open
