  • Format: Bespoke training
  • CPD: 12 hours for your records (depending on your requirements)
  • Certificate of completion

Course Overview

A basic introduction and overview of the main principles and concepts of pharmacokinetics relating to drug discovery and development, including consideration of:

  • Intravenous infusion and multiple dosing
  • Distribution dynamics, concentration – and time-dependent kinetics
  • Linking pharmacokinetics to pharmacodynamics
  • In vitro – in vivo extrapolation

Why you should attend

This two-day course is intended to provide a basic knowledge and understanding of the main principles and concepts of pharmacokinetics and their application in drug discovery and development. The lectures will be interspersed with workshop problem solving sessions. There will be equations, but they will be small ones!

Who should attend

This workshop will be of interest and benefit to all those requiring a basic knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
